Summer is Here, Let's READ!

Since summer is almost here, it is definitely time to decide what you are going to do with your children for the next couple of months. I know exactly what you should do with them. Send them to me. I am hosting a camp to keep up their preschool skills and help them learn to read.

I am hosting an ABC camp for children ages 3-6. This class is designed for children who can already recognize the letters of the alphabet and have started to learn some site words. It is a phonics-based class that will teach children how to sound out letters to create words. We will read lots of stories, decide what letter different words start with and end with, find objects that start with a letter, and be letter detectives. It will be taught in a very fun and interactive way!

If your child is ready for kindergarten or first grade, but needs help to maintain what they have already learned, through the summer, then this is the class for you.
